For
me, photography is pure excitement. My heart is in it and my
passion for it overflows. I have always dabbled in a variety
of creative outlets: sketching, painting, pottery, music; but
photography is my medium of choice. In today's world, technology
has turned the art of photography into a mass market where anyone
and everyone is a photographer. Photography for me is so much
more than a hobby. It is an obsession. My ambition challenges
me to rise up and do something that has not been done before
in a world when everything has been done.
I
am an award-winning professional, shooting for the past ten
years. My clean commercial style blended with my bountiful creativity,
ability to adapt and think on my toes makes every shoot successful.
I enjoy working with other professionals and pulling different
talents together to make an amazing final product. I am extremely
observant with elements on a set, and I have the patience of
a nun. All of these qualities combine together quite nicely.
I will accept any challenge, and I am always looking forward
to a new day when I can pick up my camera and photograph.

People
ask what I do for fun, I say “photography.” People
ask what I do for work, I say “photography.” What
for most is relegated to an obsessive hobby I was able to turn
into a career, and I am ceaselessly grateful. Pushing that little
shutter button shouldn’t be so addictive, but it is....and
it doesn’t matter if I am shooting a feature story for
a travel magazine, or capturing the groom’s face as he
watches his bride walk down the aisle, the “aha”
thrill of capturing a decisive moment never ceases to be fun
and rewarding.
Next
to photography I love a great story, and wedding photography
should be a visual narrative. The photos should capture all
those little moments, anticipated and surprising, as well as
all the carefully planned details that make the day uniquely
your own. The details on the dress, the anticipation of walking
down the aisle, the proud parents, the tired ring bearer, the
dancing friends... and to be charged and trusted to capture
this most important of days is an honor and a pleasure.
